China and India are not rivals; they are partners: Xi Jinping.

China and India are not rivals; they are partners. Chinese President Xi Jinping made this statement during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Modi in Delhi on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.
TASS reports the news.
Xi added that cooperation between China and India can ensure mutual success for both nations.
"China and India differ from one another, each possessing its own national characteristics; however, they are fully capable of leveraging mutual advantages, supporting each other, fostering bilateral success, and developing together," he noted.
According to Xi, the PRC and India should coordinate their interactions based on an objective and rational strategic perspective. He stated that cooperation between the two nations creates opportunities for development rather than posing a threat, and aligns with the interests of the peoples of both countries.
