"Crocodile" has arrived in Yerevan from Vedi. Ahead of the CP Board elections. "Zhoghovurd"

The “Zhoghovurd” daily writes: “The government sources of the “Zhoghovurd” daily report that the mayor of Vedi, Garik Sargsyan, is doing everything he can to become a member of the CP board this time. Our sources note that Garik Sargsyan has been actively campaigning for himself in different administrative districts of Yerevan in recent days and, one might say, appears alone at all meetings. Our government sources note that Sargsyan is not very perceptible to the CP elite, and his becoming a member of the CP board has not particularly excited the government elite, especially since he is trying to get votes from Yerevan, having left his region and community.

Let us remind you that on September 20, elections for the new composition of the CP Department will be held, for which 42 CPs have been nominated; 20 of them will be elected.

It should be noted that Garik Sargsyan is known to the public for his scandalous statement, which he made back in 2019, when he held the position of governor of Ararat. For some reason, the latter intended to implement a crocodile breeding program in Ararat province and regularly boasted about it.

"We are talking about several components, the project is simply known as a "crocodile farm", but it will be an eco-park, where there will be a wave pool, a bicycle track, a children's playground, fast food outlets, restaurants, etc.," Sargsyan said, whose announcement remained as a project hanging in the air.
