Everything must be done to ensure that Ruben Vardanyan returns, even if he himself is on a business trip somewhere, NA Speaker Alen Simonyan announced this in a conversation with reporters.
"It doesn't change anything, he is our compatriot," he said.
Simonyan is not sure that, given the scenes shown from Baku, any international court or figure can give a positive assessment that the trial underway in Azerbaijan has legal force.
