Priest Garegin Arsenyan, the archbishop of the Aragatsotn diocese, has been released from prison and has been placed under house arrest for a period of 2 months. This was announced by his lawyer Petros Petrosyan, according to 24News.

It should be noted that on October 16, Father Garegin Arsenyan, the spiritual pastor of the St. Gevorg Church in Mughni and the archbishop of the Aragatsotn Diocese, was detained for one month for aiding Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, the Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese.

Let us remind you that early in the morning of October 15, the Investigative Committee, accompanied by the National Security Service, conducted searches at the Aragatsotn Diocese's prelacy and the homes of a number of clergymen.
