According to the *Times of India*, citing local media, the fire broke out in the basement of the factory, located in the Mangolpuri industrial area.
Six individuals were rescued from the building in an unconscious state and transported to a hospital. Four of them have died, while two remain under medical supervision.
More than 20 fire and rescue teams were deployed to extinguish the blaze. The firefighting and rescue operation lasted approximately four hours, complicated by the presence of highly combustible materials—including rubber and various chemicals—within the factory.
Police and forensic experts have launched an investigation into the causes of the incident. Specifically, specialists examine the building's floor plan, the presence of entrances and exits, and the extent to which fire safety regulations are being observed.
