"Azerbaijan is not the guarantor of our peace; the guarantor of our peace is the regional balance—that is a universal law," Narek Karapetyan, leader of the "Strong Armenia" faction, stated in a conversation with journalists.
A journalist asked Narek Karapetyan about the status of the faction's proposed "anti-Safarov law." He replied:
"The draft exists. We have currently proposed legislation regarding medicines; this other law will follow—it is among the legislative initiatives we plan to introduce."
"The most critical point regarding the TRIPS [Agreement]—which our people must take note of—is that Pashinyan granted access to a road in Syunik without a 'Peace Treaty' having been signed," he noted.
