Taking such steps, given the influence of current domestic political and external factors, carries a serious risk of upheaval. This was written by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
"The ruler—who preaches, encourages, and emboldens violence from the seat of power—was not merely expressing his assessment of the events when he praised the provocation and disorder that took place in the National Assembly.
He, in fact, frames all of this as a 'working style,' declaring—with barely any attempt at concealment—that they intend to continue relying on violence and coercion to resolve domestic political issues.
To suggest that this was an isolated incident or an unexpected stance would clearly be incorrect.
However, given the influence of current domestic political and external factors, taking such steps carries a serious risk of upheaval—upheaval that, in any scenario, will work against the state," Abrahamyan wrote.
