How will the Armenian authorities explain to Russia the statements made by Zelensky from Yerevan? The second President of the Republic of Armenia, candidate for Prime Minister Robert Kocharyan stated during a meeting with residents of Gavar.

The politician recalled that during his term in office he pursued a complementary policy, the essence of which is not to play on the contradictions of the superpowers. “It has a bad ending,” he noted.

“Saakashvili also acted in the same way. We have never taken such a step. In addition to contradictions, the superpowers also have points of contact. In relations with Russia, the US and the EU, we emphasized this very thing.

And now the Armenian authorities are literally driving themselves into a collision course. The latest absurdity was the invitation of Zelensky and the statements he made from Yerevan. It is unacceptable in international relations when statements are made from the territory of Armenia against a strategic ally.

"How will they explain this to Russia?" Kocharyan noted, adding that Armenia should not interfere in the relations between Russia and Ukraine, as this could have bad consequences, and the Armenian people will have to pay the price.
