The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “The artificial conflict between Alen Simonyan and Andranik Kocharyan was resolved in favor of Simonyan, or rather, the government did not want to make the report on the 44-day war a subject of discussion in the National Assembly, since the discussion could rekindle passions and remind of the war, and they have been preaching a false peace sermon for more than 2 months.

The NA Speaker has sent the report to the first, confidential section of the NA, and those deputies who have access to confidentiality can review it.

Although the NA Speaker proposed discussing the report in the format of closed NA hearings, Andranik Kocharyan refused.

Yesterday, we asked Vladimir Vardanyan, the head of the State and Legal Affairs Committee, what conclusion he conveyed to the NA Speaker, is the report really overdue? A. Kocharyan declares that the constitutional committee is legitimate as long as the parliament has not completed its powers.

Vardanyan spoke at length, did not directly say that it was overdue. "There can be no dispute. It can be in the case when there is a misinterpretation, we do not have a misinterpretation, I have very clearly presented what is provided for by the NA Rules of Procedure. But for us, the enormous work that the committee has done is very important. The document is ready, it is in the NA... whoever has access to state secrets can get acquainted with it."
