"Hraparak": Argishti Mekhakyan is depressed

The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “The Communist Party candidate for mayor of Echmiadzin, the temporary acting mayor, Argishti Mekhakyan, is in depression. His close circle tells him that it is an understatement to say that the candidate is taking the accusations hard, that he himself has betrayed his father's ideas.

According to our source, he would not have participated in the campaign with great pleasure if he had not heard reminders at every turn about denying his father's message. Mekhak Mekhakyan's father, Mekhak Mekhakyan, was one of the heroic commanders who liberated Artsakh, and his son and his teammates are the ones who deny and surrender Artsakh.

The father even decreed: "Let my son die in Van, my grandson in the last province of Greater Armenia," and Argishti Mekhakian's team and leader today reject our historical homeland and even Artsakh.

We were told that the entire burden of the Vagharshapat campaign was taken on by the Minister of the Territorial Administration, Davit Khudatyan, and the role of his “tug” was taken on by the newly appointed governor of Armavir, the former head of the Metsamor community. During this time, Khudatyan is directing state subsidies to Vagharshapat and neighboring communities and is simply going out of his way to win.
