"Hraparak": New proceedings against Tsarukyan

According to our information, another criminal attack will be launched against Gagik Tsarukyan, who submitted an application to participate in the elections, on the instructions of the authorities. Accordingly, the Investigative Committee has “give the green light” to a criminal proceeding initiated years ago regarding the 2018 elections, in which the Prosperous Armenia Party and the Alliance party participated under the “Tsarukyan alliance.” The proceeding concerns the unequal distribution of state funding between parties during the elections. Tsarukyan’s lawyer Yerem Sargsyan told us that he does not have such information. The president of the Alliance, Tigran Urikhanyan, who is under investigation, confirmed the information. “My information is as follows: yesterday or the day before, an investigator of the Investigative Committee named Gayane contacted the party’s secretary general, who reported that according to an application filed by one of the party representatives about 2 years ago, a criminal case that I do not know what fate has been resumed, it concerns the unequal distribution of state funding.” Urikhanyan himself does not know who received that money, who did not distribute it, he is not interested in it, if there is a criminal element, then there is an appropriate process.
