The employees of “Multi Stone” have gone on a protest again today, they demand to open their sealed workplace and restore their right to work.
“It’s already the 10th day that the factory has been idle, no one has given us an answer to whom we have appealed, so far no one has given us an answer, we have all gathered again, we want to understand, in the end, will this Government give us an answer or not, we want to say that Mr. Tsarukyan built the destroyed factories with his own money and created jobs, thanks to the operation of the factories, money is coming into the budget. I don’t know what answer to give the employees, our families are also asking what will be the end of this.
If they don’t give us an answer today, we will take drastic steps. If the state bodies don’t solve our issue, we will no longer be responsible for our steps, our patience is running out, and we don’t know what to do. We are ready for anything, because we don’t know what to do, if our country doesn’t want to support us, we have to do everything to protect our families,” said one of the employees.
The participants in the action emphasize that they are holding a peaceful protest, they are not blocking the road, their only request is the opening of the factory. “What should we do, take drastic steps so that they understand that these people are concerned? Do we have to go down to the Government building so that they come closer and listen to us? The head of state came, became the head of the country by blocking the roads, if that’s how he likes it, then we should go and close it too,” said the other employee.
Let us remind you that the “Multi Stone” factory owned by Gagik Tsarukyan is closed. The area was sealed off by law enforcement agencies as part of large-scale searches carried out in parallel with Tsarukyan’s arrest.
