Kostanyan conveyed to the Syrian Foreign Minister the commitment of the Armenian government to develop bilateral relations

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met with Foreign Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic Asad Al-Shaibani. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, the Deputy Foreign Minister conveyed the commitment of the Armenian government to develop bilateral relations with the Syrian side. The interlocutors exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation.

Vahan Kostanyan confirmed the Armenian side's readiness to support humanitarian and reform implementation areas, as well as various other programs considered a priority in Syria.

Both sides emphasized the strong historical ties between the peoples of Armenia and Syria. In this context, support was expressed for efforts aimed at creating an atmosphere of solidarity and inclusiveness in Syria.
