Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan lost his temper when asked about his posts about clergy during the "Education is Fashionable" movement.

"About the fact that I have a problem with the clergy or the clergy have a problem with me. In my opinion, the problem of our clergy is with God, how can they have a problem with me? When celibate priests take up celibacy, they kneel at the place where Jesus Christ descended and make a vow, they sign a covenant that they will not have a personal life. The phrase "the personal life of a Catholic" is absurd. If a person has a personal life, he is not a Catholicos," he said.

According to Pashinyan, he was reported to him by the NSS about the clergy: "The clergy have found themselves in the center of operational attention with their actions. The NSS is a body subordinate to the Prime Minister and the NSS reports to me every day about the operational situation in the Republic."
