Pashinyan apologized to me, sympathized with my grief, but the fact that he compares me to a passenger sitting on a bus, I absolutely do not understand that approach. Sona Mnatsakanyan's father, Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan, told reporters after the regular court hearing on the case of Sona Mnatsakanyan's run-over, referring to Nikol Pashinyan's statement that the pregnant woman was run over by the Prime Minister's convoy, not Nikol Pashinyan's.
"Well, that's how he thinks. I can't say why he thinks that way. You have to understand how he thinks that way," he said.
Does he consider Nikol Pashinyan guilty? Mnatsakanyan replied that the court should decide who is guilty.
Mnatsakanyan insisted that this is a matter of state negligence: "They must also be able to ensure security for passers-by. Aren't passers-by citizens of the Republic of Armenia to ensure security? What does "based on security" mean?"
Referring to the fact that the driver who hit Sona, Aram Navasardyan, does not accept the charges brought against him, Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan said:
"It has been proven that he exceeded the speed limit, that is, he did not take measures to prevent the accident, he is definitely guilty. He is not the only one to blame. We have also filed complaints against other people. If the road had been closed in time, the incident would not have happened. They say the recordings are gone, they were damaged, can one be so negligent in every matter?"
When asked whether the injured party was satisfied with the legal process, Mnatsakanyan replied that he was still satisfied: "Several times, judicial acts have been unreasonably delayed in connection with the injured party's defense attorney. It seems to me that they are doing this to gain time, to let the five years expire, to let the statute of limitations pass."
Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan confirmed that he demanded 10 million drams in court for the renovation of the memorial stone and the grave.
