There is anarchy in Gyumri for a long time. As a result of political pressure, after the resignation of the mayor Vardges Samsonyan, the second city of Armenia has no leader. CP has to go to new elections in Gyumri, but there are problems here too. The point is that the organization of elections is, in fact, not possible without the acting community head.

For example, the Law on Local Government clearly defines that during the pre-election phase, according to the procedure established by the EC, the head of the community decides the places set aside for posting propaganda posters in the territory of the community, ensures the necessary furniture for normal voting in the precinct center, or removes posted posters in violation of the provisions of the Election Code of the Republic of Armenia. propaganda posters. It turns out that even if an election day is set, the community does not have a leader to carry out these functions.

According to "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, CP "found" the key to solving the problem after a long search. changes will be made in the law on local government, so that the obstacles will be removed and they will be able to hold new elections and take power in Gyumri.

As for what changes they will make in the law, the CP members are still discussing with lawyers. There should be a law on "ensuring the victory of CP" in Gyumri.
