By decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Hayk Babayan, Commander of the Police Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Deputy Chief of Police, has been awarded the rank of Major General of Police.

Hayk Babayan was appointed to the position of Commander-Deputy Chief of the Police Guard of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs on November 1.

Before being appointed Commander of the Police Guard, Hayk Babayan held the position of Commander of the Internal Troops of the RA Police.
