“Samvel Karapetyan is a political hostage, and his case is clearly a political vendetta.

Another judge was discredited, I'm sure he wouldn't want to extend the detention period, but it's one thing not to want to and another thing to be an ascetic of the profession. When choosing the profession of a judge, a person should ask himself: "What if the president of the court, the prime minister, the Central Bank, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Armenia, my grandmother, my uncle, my cousin, call me and say, 'Make an innocent person a criminal and detain me,' can I refuse and remain faithful to the oath I took?"

If a person feels that they cannot, they should not become a judge. They should work as a loader, a gamekeeper, a construction worker, a migrant worker, a plumber, a potter, a carpenter, or any other specialist, but never a judge.

With this realization, I have stopped sharing my successes in the courts. Anyone would apply house arrest instead of arresting Jebkir, even our "honorable ones", the quality of the judge is evident here.
