"I want to get ahead of the rotating series of dismissals. I no longer give up both the presidency and the membership of the Supreme Judicial Council," said Karen Andreasyan, president of the Supreme Judicial Council.

He wrote on his Facebook page:

"Apparently everything is clear, but I don't want to tell the deep reasons. Whatever I say, they will interpret it in a thousand and one ways and put forward many false hypotheses. I already had such an experience.

Instead, let me humbly say that I brought the judiciary out of an embarrassing crisis. The people inside know it for sure and will probably accept it (except for a few and their relatives whom I hurt for the sake of surgical treatment of the system).

I have also laid dozens of institutional foundations, which, if they are not corrupted, all the people entering the court will benefit from their results in a year or two. All our current failures in the judicial system are in the medium term, because it was not possible to meet today's fair public demands in two years, and we did not want to meet unfair expectations. In order to thoroughly explain why and how everyone's positive expectations from the judicial system were shattered, I would have to write volumes. The disclaimer text is too short for that.

I sincerely thank all the honest and professional judges and judicial officers who are in the system and have increased. I am grateful to the legislative and executive wings, led by the Prime Minister, as well as the former and current members of the Supreme Judicial Council, for supporting our crisis management and, of course, for entrusting me with this very difficult but important position.

I am going without scandal, bile and disappointment and having endured the longest in this toxic position. I sincerely believe in tomorrow's vision of having a fair court in a strong Armenia. I will continue to support that great dream in different capacities."
