The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) approved a possible transaction for the purchase of 100 percent of the shares of GNC-ALFA (Ovio, formerly Rostelecom) by the Armenian telecommunications operator Viva Armenia at its meeting held today.

"GNC-ALFA" company represents the Russian brand formerly known as "Rostelecom", now called "Ovio", in Armenia, which provides broadband Internet connection services.
