There is no need for constitutional amendments in the context of signing the peace agreement, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this at the PACE.
"Azerbaijan claims that the Armenian Constitution contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan, while in September 2024, when the RA Constitutional Court was examining the regulations on the joint activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijani border demarcation commissions, it recorded that the RA Constitution does not contain territorial claims against any country," said Nikol Pashinyan.
He noted that when Armenia signs the peace agreement, it should send it to the Constitutional Court to verify its compliance with the RA Constitution.
