US senators have reached an agreement on a bill imposing new sanctions on Russia and Iran, Bloomberg reports.
The document will allow Trump to impose tariffs of up to 500% on Russian goods, as well as additional 100% tariffs on countries that buy Russian energy resources.
According to the agency, the Senate may pass the bill as early as this week, but due to the recess of the House of Representatives, it will not come into force until September.
