Recently, one of the Turkish songs has become quite popular online, including among the Armenian audience.
A user named Tereza, who has 1 million followers on Instagram, also posted a video of herself performing the Turkish song in Yerevan’s Republic Square.
Her Armenian audience was outraged, especially because the Turkish-sounding clip was filmed in the center of Yerevan.
The commentary sections of the video are flooded with offensive comments. Tereza, trying to justify herself, noted that the whole of Yerevan is listening to the song, urging those who write negative comments to “calm down.”
Rapper Super Sako also made quite harsh offensive statements, writing:
“Who gives this *itch a visa to come to Armenia? She shoots videos with Turkish songs in the square, you whore.”
Sako also called on airport employees to ban such people from entering Armenia.
