234 million drams for the "Second National Youth Conference": "Zhoghovurd"

The “Zhoghovurd” daily writes: “On August 5, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the Second National Youth Forum at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater.
The conference was organized by the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Armenia in collaboration with "Outsource" LLC, which organized the first National Youth Conference 2 years ago.
From the documents available in the Armeps electronic procurement system, the "Zhoghovurd" daily learned that 234 million drams, almost 610 thousand US dollars, were allocated for the conference.
65.5 million drams were allocated for the opening and closing ceremonies of the event, 18 million drams were allocated for technical equipment, and 7.1 million drams were allocated for transportation services for the transportation of 800 participants.
2 million drams were allocated for information point services at Zvartnots Airport, and 17 million drams were allocated for printing works, including the preparation of custom-made materials.
11.750 million drams were allocated for the rental of halls and other areas, of which 8 million drams were allocated for the territory of the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater, and 2 million 250 thousand drams for the territory of the English Garden.
Broadcasting and live streaming services cost 9.7 million drams.
If the public was surprised by the $37,000 allocated for Jennifer Lopez's food, let's note that the Government allocated 34.7 million drams for the food for the 3-day event.
The hall and stage furnishing services cost 14.2 million drams.
For example, during the mentioned event, 7 million drams were allocated for the cooling system.
It should be added that the application for participation was published in April 2025. The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the Second National Youth Conference to be held in Yerevan from August 5 to 7, 2025.
