Aliyev has confirmed Azerbaijan's accession to the "Islamic Eight", Azerbaijani media reported.
The "Group of Eight" (D8 Economic Cooperation Organization) is an international organization for the development of cooperation between Bangladesh, Egypt, Nigeria, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Turkey.
