The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had dispatched search and rescue units from the Interior Command to the site of an Iranian ballistic missile strike in the city of Dimona, the Times of Israel reported.

More than 20 people were injured, including a 10-year-old child and a 40-year-old woman, who are in moderate condition, according to doctors.

Dimona is home to a nuclear reactor and a nuclear research center linked to Israel’s development of nuclear weapons.
