Armenia is waiting for actions from Turkey to move forward. Armen Grigoryan
Armenia views the Armenia-Azerbaijan and Armenia-Turkey processes as separate and different directions from each other, according to "Armenpress", Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan said this during the "APRI Forum 2024" under the title "Building the Future". referring to the voiced opinion that Turkey will not regulate relations with Armenia until Armenia and Azerbaijan come to an agreement.
"We see both processes in different ways. There are Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and Armenia-Turkey relations. We work towards these in different ways. Yes, there may be some correlation. But our approach is the same. if there are two complex formulas to solve, and you combine those complex formulas, the solution will be more difficult. So they need to be separated. Our understanding and approach is that we have two different directions," said Grigoryan.
The Secretary of the Security Council noted that Armenia expects that the agreement reached on opening the land border for diplomatic passport holders and citizens of third countries will be implemented.
He noted that Armenia is waiting for actions to move forward. According to the Secretary of the Security Council, there is no deadline set in this process.
