On October 8, an emergency happened in Yerevan. At around 07:25, Yerevan resident Mary M. called the Mashtots police department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and reported that her daughter died in the intensive care unit of the "Armenia" medical center "at the light hands of the doctors", she noted that the girl's hands tied up, and her daughter also told her that the ICU doctor hit her.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, the operative group of the Mashtots police department headed by the inspector of the community police department went to the hospital.
On the spot, it was found out that Mary M.'s daughter, Sona S., a 21-year-old resident of Yerevan, did not die, but was unconscious in the intensive care unit and had a doctor's certificate.
On the same day, Sona S.'s father, 43-year-old Sasun S., a resident of Vayots Dzor marz, informed the police that his daughter felt ill on October 5, as a result of which she was taken to the "Armenia" medical center for treatment. He died around 11:20 on the 8th. The father also blamed the doctors for his daughter's death.
According to the fact of the incident, documents were drawn up in the Mashtots police department, which were transferred to the investigative department of the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of the investigative department of the Yerevan city of the RA Investigative Committee.
