Gyumri Mayor's Son Arrested

Spartak Ghukasyan, the son of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, has been arrested.

The Investigative Committee informed Aysor.am : “During the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings initiated by the Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, a public criminal prosecution was initiated against one person under Article 258, Part 1, Point 4 of the Criminal Code (extortion by other means of coercion). He was arrested.

Let us remind you that Aravot.am reported that Spartak Ghukasyan, the son of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, was detained at the door of the kindergarten this morning while taking his 1.5-year-old child to kindergarten and taken to the Shirak Regional Police Department. His other child was also found in the car.
