The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “While the opposition is making announcements about countering the attack on the Church, or rather, they are waiting for the call of His Holiness and do not want to take the risk and make calls to lead the struggle, they only give interviews saying that the war against the Church will lead to the dissolution of the state, while Pashinyan is conducting organizational work.
He reckons that there are CP members, civil servants, and zombies who will come to Echmiadzin at his call, but these are not enough; they plan to bring some of the security forces in civilian uniforms and involve representatives of certain religious minorities, especially Jehovah's Witnesses, who have been holding a large congress in Yerevan for several days now, in which Jehovah's Witnesses from different countries of the world are participating.
Our sources say that, unlike another Armenian religious organization, the Word of Life, the Jehovah's Witnesses are not opposed to participating in the campaign against the Church.
Perhaps it is no coincidence that they gathered in Armenia during these very days.
