"Hraparak". The "Saviors" and the War Munitets: Pashinyan's Fight with Empty Chairs

As the June 7 parliamentary elections approach, the government's supporters are expressing their fears and anti-propaganda against the opposition in the most ridiculous and absurd scenarios. Yesterday was another question-and-answer session in parliament, and, like last time, yesterday too the parliamentary opposition boycotted and did not show up, perhaps trying to deprive Pashinyan of the opportunity to stage a theater. However, Pashinyan and his group now started fighting against the empty seats of the oppositionists.
The number one DJ of the government, Eduard Aghajanyan, made loud statements about the role and importance of the parliament. He had probably forgotten that it was the CP members themselves who officially admitted through the lips of Vahagn Aleksanyan that they were Nikol Pashinyan's knapsacks, just button-pressers in the parliament, who were obliged to give up their parliamentary mandates and positions via WhatsApp messages. He specifically stated that he had statistics that in the current parliament, the oppositionists boycotted the question-and-answer format with the government by about 80 percent, thus “unhindering” the number one legislative body of the state that has adopted parliamentary rule, so he called on the people not to vote for such an opposition. Then he asked Pashinyan: “Why should the people vote for this political force?” And the leader of the force that claims 65 percent of the voters’ votes entered the parliamentary ring to fight alone. He began to speak on behalf of the people, saying that the people were tired of the oppositionists. Then, during the 8 years of his rule, the “national disaster” that had brought us 5 wars, military escalation, and many victims said that the oppositionists would bring war. “I think our people have no reason to vote for the three-headed force of war. On the contrary, they have many reasons not to vote for these forces. Voting for any of these forces means voting against yourself. I have spent 6 years in the National Assembly, I do not remember a question and answer session that I did not attend, unless there was a special reason. The absence is evidence of one thing: they accept their defeat in this political dialogue and are in the process of collecting the spoils from the National Assembly. When we say “the three-headed party of war”, we can also say “the three-headed party of the former”. Then he proposed to the people: “Put these forces on Noah’s Ark and send them on an open voyage into the ocean of world history”.
But the leader of the force that has completely failed to govern the state was not satisfied with this, while answering another pre-planned question, he again returned to the opposition, saying that now they are still trying to seize the people’s vote by handing out a piece of string and five thousand drams.
And he again threatened Samvel Karapetyan, stating that by the end of the year he would lose his financial resources. "I have predicted and I maintain my prediction that the multi-citizen you mentioned will become poor by the end of the year. He has taken on huge obligations to Iran, and as a result of not fulfilling them, his nominal assets will be taken from him." It was not clear whether he was threatening to take away his remaining assets as well, or whether he was making a prediction like Vanga.
Responding to a question from a CP MP, which reminded him of the statements of the members of the “Strong Armenia” party that Armenia would have serious economic problems if Pashinyan were re-elected, he said: “That talk makes it obvious to me that we are dealing with a foreign agent. He is trying to provoke an RA-RF conflict in order to warm his hands on that conflict. I consider such a thing impossible.” By the way, before the question-and-answer session, when presenting the government’s program report for the past year, the leader of the war party once again shone with a number of statements and introduced the CP and himself as Jesus Christ, saying: “Armenia has overcome the agenda of survival and struggle imposed on it and has entered a historical era of simply living.” Then he thanked the CP members for making “that epoch-making milestone” a reality. The CP, according to Pashinyan, has changed the destructive course of our history and put Armenia on the path of peaceful and creative history. Then he declared, yes, at the cost of many victims and sacrifices, at the cost of many deprivations and sufferings, at the cost of going through hell, what we have today was achieved.
“The saying ‘Karabakh was ours and is no longer ours’ is the philosophy and concept of our being in a geopolitical trap, the reality is that Armenia was not ours and is no longer ours, the reality is that all the territories known to us have been under Armenian control at the expense of our state, our sovereignty and independence, and we have not understood that,” he said.
