Limp Bizkit member dies

Limp Bizkit member Sam Rivers has died at the age of 48. The band announced the death on their official Instagram page.

"Today we lost our brother, our bandmate, our heart," the statement said.

Limp Bizkit was formed in 1994 in Florida. Rivers was one of the founding members. He recorded studio albums and toured worldwide with the band. He was one of the most recognizable bassists in the nu metal genre.

During its existence, the group has received three Grammy nominations and sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
