Nikol Pashinyan is challenging publications regarding his and Anna Hakobyan's capital in court.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has filed a defamation lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, seeking to compel Anna Gevorgyan and "Iravunk Tert" LLC to issue a public retraction regarding information published about the reasons for his separation from Anna Hakobyan. The Prime Minister also demands monetary compensation in the amount of 4 million drams. This is reported by *Hetq*.
According to the claim, on September 30, 2026, Anna Gevorgyan published information on her "Haykakan Zham" Facebook pages—and on October 5, "Iravunk Tert" LLC published similar information on its news website and Facebook page—concerning the reasons for the separation of Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan; the plaintiff considers this information to be defamatory.
Specifically, the publications stated:
. "Anna and Nikol have accumulated significant capital, which they now seek to formalize and legalize."
"As long as they lived in the same household, Anna was required to submit a financial disclosure. Through this turn of events, Anna has been exempted from filing such disclosures, and they have now begun the process of registering their capital under her name."
"They will hold no assets in Armenia; their primary property and funds will be kept within the European Union."
"Anna has already purchased a large residence in the center of Paris, valued at 5.7 million euros."
The reports also touch upon Anna Hakobyan’s visits to Switzerland between 2018 and 2020. Specifically, it is noted that these visits largely remained confidential, and their purpose was never disclosed. Following a discussion on Swiss banking secrecy, the publication also includes the following remark, attributed to an employee of the Central Bank: "If you want to understand why Anna Hakobyan is going to Switzerland, look at the financial flows."
