The issue of prisoners of war is a non-existent issue for Nikol Pashinyan, said Armen Ashotyan, Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, in a conversation with reporters after an hour-long silent protest in front of the EU office.

"That question interferes with himself, interferes with his fairy tale, with the propaganda of a false era of peace, because every time we see our compatriots imprisoned in Baku and Yerevan prisons for their political struggle and opinion, the peace invented by Nikol Pashinyan shatters into thousands of fragments, and these fragments have no connection whatsoever with the promises of fairy-tale reality they have made," said Ashotyan.

According to him, in the event of a change of power, there is definitely a possibility of releasing the prisoners.

"My compatriots should not suddenly become infected with this pessimism instilled by Nikol, as if nothing could be changed. Everything can be changed. Of course, not everything can be brought back, but it is possible to prevent the fall and defeat of the Republic of Armenia, it is possible to bring back our Armenian sons from Baku prisons, it is possible to hold the Baku regime accountable for crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, and genocide, it is possible to hold the traitors who brought this war accountable, when Nikol Pashinyan gave his own confession that he brought it knowing what he was doing," he said.
