Tense situation at the Merdzavan cemetery: Gevorg Harutyunyan, who confessed to the murders of Valodya Grigoryan and Karen Abrahamyan, was brought to the cemetery

Law enforcement officers, accompanied by a large police force, brought Gevorg Harutyunyan, who confessed to the murders of Valodya Grigoryan and Karen Abrahamyan, to the Merdzavan cemetery, journalist Lia Sargsyan reported.

"Secret investigative actions were carried out for about an hour. There are suspicions that Gevorg Harutyunyan is hiding something here that is related to the September 23 murders. There are reasonable suspicions that the murder of Valodya Grigoryan was planned in advance, in which the head of the CP community, Mher Akhtoyan, had direct participation."

He left Armenia 10 days before the incident. According to information, Akhtoyan was seen off at the airport by Gevorg Harutyunyan.

Let me remind you that on September 23, at midnight, the opposition mayor of Parakar, Valodya Grigoryan, and the criminal police officer Karen Abrahamyan, who was with him in the same place, were killed in the yard of their house. Gevor Harutyunyan, who confessed to the murder, and Narek Ohanyan are currently detained in this case. The latter is accused of aiding and abetting the murders,” the journalist noted.
