We love to talk about our tragedies, it is our most discussed topic, but we have not noticed the tragedy that a huge number of our students enter and graduate from school and still do not have a normal physical education hall or playground. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at the government session, speaking about the construction of sports schools.
“It’s not a tragedy for us, it’s not an open tragedy,” Pashinyan quipped, continuing: “How did that affect the future life of that child, how did it affect interpersonal relationships in the army, physical condition and combat readiness, how did it affect the number of suicides? And who spoke about this, no one. An event that took place in 1473 can be discussed for years, but the fact that today the future of our children is being trampled under our feet is not a tragedy for anyone,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
