The Israeli army has announced a retaliatory airstrike on Lebanese territory

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the information about an airstrike on the Nabi Chit region near Baalbek in northeastern Lebanon earlier today.

According to the statement of Tsakhal, the target of the strike was "an important weapons production facility belonging to Hezbollah".

It is also noted that the attack was carried out in response to the firing of about 40 rockets by "Hezbollah" in the northern direction of Israel during the night attack of Iran.
