The path, first American and then Turkish, will become the most convenient way to take Meghri and all of Syunik. We have very little time to save Armenia from destruction. Turkologist

All documents signed in the US under the coercion of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem are, without exception, aimed at satisfying the interests and demands of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan stated.
"Of course, you can listen to the Nikolian propaganda, which has been lying to us all for 7 years and saying 'we are winning,' but if we put that aside, the picture is very clear. Suffice it to say that if this were a truly mutually beneficial deal, it would be announced, for example, that Azerbaijan and Turkey are lifting the blockade imposed on Armenia, liberating the territories occupied by Armenia, returning the prisoners, and many other issues. However, there is no such thing. It will not happen.
Then what was the big show last night for?
The answer is very simple.
If you look, you will see that the only thing whose mechanisms are described more or less clearly is the “corridor”. The rest were lovely and non-binding words, toasts. All this was so that the “Zangezur Corridor”, imposed on Armenia, agreed to by the de facto authorities of the Republic of Armenia and implying the actual creeping conquest of Syunik, would become a reality, but in a slightly more subtle and not so frightening form, but in essence the same. The path, initially American, and then directly Turkish, will become the most convenient way to take Meghri and all of Syunik.
Now the larger phase of turning Armenia into a point of conflict between several countries will begin. From now on, we are also losing Iran's unconditional support in this issue and strengthening Turkey's positions. Turkey's influence will soon be very visible in Armenia, including in everyday life. I think, in a form that no one will like.
Another party also benefits from all this: the group that rules Armenia. Another concession, packaged very nicely, will ensure a certain percentage of mass indifference or even support and guarantee victory in the elections.
In three days, the initialed text of relations with Azerbaijan will also be published. I think they are not publishing it at the same time on purpose so that there is less public outcry. There is nothing particularly secret - "enclaves" and new concessions.
In this situation, the only question I have is addressed to the real elites of Armenia, from national politicians to bloggers.
You and we have very little time to save the state of Armenia from a beautifully packaged destruction.
What are we going to do? What are the political steps?
"And I ask you not to do analyses. You are not an analyst, you are a figurehead. My colleagues and I can do analyses, in many cases better," Geghamyan noted.
