The "Zhoghovurd" daily writes: "Sources of the "Zhoghovurd" daily close to the security agencies report that those with high and medium status in the criminal hierarchy recently gathered to resolve an issue. Law enforcement officers appeared and "caught" them.
"Zhoghovurd" learned that Paruyr Avagyan, having become involved in the implementation of the goals pursued by the criminal subculture group, on June 6, 2024, contacted Arman Hakobyan via WhatsApp and, presenting himself on behalf of the criminal authority "Aramo from Greece", reached an agreement with the latter to meet in the city of Armavir.
On the same day, between 22:00 and 00:00, at the "Mercy" restaurant located at 3/7 Shahumyan Street in Armavir, Arman Armen Hakobyan met with members of a criminal subculture group, known in the group and among others by the nickname "Cheremushketsi Pro", Paruyr Avagyan, Babken Karapetyan, and 6-7 other individuals who were members of the same group, whose identities were not determined by the investigation, at which time Aram Karapetyan, who lives abroad and introduces himself under the nickname "Aramo from Greece", known in the circle as "thief Nodari Aramo", and who has the status of a criminal authority in the criminal hierarchy, also participated in the meeting via video link.
During the meeting, in order to resolve a dispute related to private matters, a conversation was held between Arman Hakobyan and a certain Vakhid, a resident of Nizhny Novgorod, RF, an Azerbaijani by nationality, regarding monetary issues. During this meeting, under the influence of threats and pressure made by the above-mentioned persons participating in the meeting against Arman Hakobyan and his family members, and motivated by fear for his and his family members' safety, Arman Hakobyan admitted that he allegedly owed a certain Vakhid 1,100,000 Russian rubles and undertook to transfer the said amount to "Aramo from Greece", aka Aram Samvel Karapetyan. Having received Arman Hakobyan's consent to transfer the amount and not being satisfied with the agreement reached, during the meeting, Paruyr Avagyan, on Aram Karapetyan's instructions, demanded and received from Arman Hakobyan, against his will, a Porsche belonging to the latter and located in the Russian Federation. The keys and technical passport of the "Cayenne" car, as a result of which, a few days later, the aforementioned car, worth 4,000,000 AMD, was stolen from the yard of the building at Literaturnaya 6A in Nizhny Novgorod, RF, by persons who have not yet been identified by the investigation.
Then, motivated by obligation, Arman Hakobyan met Eduard Artur Yeghiazaryan on Myasnikyan Street in Armavir city on July 8, 2024, at around 5:00 PM, in order to transfer the aforementioned allegedly owed 1,100,000 Russian rubles to Aramo through “Pro”, as agreed, but during the meeting, the latter was arrested by the officers of the Armavir Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Police, and the transfer of the money did not take place. In other words, Paruyr Marat Avagyan is charged with committing criminal acts, which are provided for by Part 1 of Article 324 of the RA Criminal Code and Points 8 and 10 of Part 2 of Article 258 of the RA Criminal Code. The case has been sent to court.
