In the upcoming elections in Goris, the Civil Contract (KP) candidate is the one-time opposition mayor Arush Arushanyan. Radio Liberty reports this.

Arushanyan has confirmed this information.

It is worth recalling that Arushanyan previously subjected the incumbent authorities—specifically Nikol Pashinyan—to harsh criticism. Following the 44-day war, he, along with other community heads in the region, had demanded Pashinyan's resignation.

"Our 'Business' party is entering the elections in an alliance with the Civil Contract party. We have constructive relations with Civil Contract—that sort of thing..." Arushanyan said.
