Samvel Karapetyan has sued Nikol Pashinyan, demanding 3 million drams and an apology.

Samvel Karapetyan has filed a new lawsuit against Nikol Pashinyan. The case was received by the court on September 9 and assigned to Judge Tigran Grigoryan, according to the Datalex system.
Samvel Karapetyan demands that Nikol Pashinyan be compelled to publicly apologize to him for an insult voiced on May 29, using the following wording: "I, Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan, apologize to Samvel Sargsi Karapetyan for having directed offensive remarks at Samvel Karapetyan during my public speech on May 29, 2026."
Samvel Karapetyan demands that the apology be issued via a live video broadcast on Nikol Pashinyan's official Facebook page, by reading the specific text specified in the court judgment under the heading: "I, Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan, apologize to Samvel Sargsi Karapetyan." According to the claim, the video and the caption regarding the apology must not contain any additions or commentary by the defendant or any third party; instead, they must consist exclusively of the text of the apology.
Furthermore, Karapetyan has demanded that 3,000,000 drams be recovered from Pashinyan in his favor as compensation for the insult, as well as the amounts covering the state duty and reasonable attorney's fees.
