For the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the signing and ratification of a peace agreement with Azerbaijan is an absolute priority: Nikol Pashinyan to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ignazio Cassis, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.

The Prime Minister emphasized the consistent development of Armenia-Switzerland relations, highlighting the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits. Nikol Pashinyan addressed the developments taking place in the region, adding that for the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the signing and ratification of a peace agreement with Azerbaijan is an absolute priority.

Ignazio Cassis noted that Switzerland also attaches importance to the development of political, economic, and humanitarian ties. He welcomed and underscored the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing the hope that a peace agreement would be signed as soon as possible. During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest.
