The *Hraparak* newspaper writes: "National Assembly [NA] Vice President Ruben Rubinyan has moved into a government residence in the Kond district with his family. Previously, he resided in an apartment building on Acharyan Street in Yerevan. Davit Ohanjanyan, Head of the NA Public Relations and Communication Department, confirmed this information, noting that he does not have any further details.

Incidentally, only four individuals have lived in the government residences in recent years: Nikol Pashinyan, Ararat Mirzoyan, Suren Papikyan, and Alen Simonyan. Now, Rubinyan has taken Simonyan’s place—though the law permits all members of the Security Council to reside within the government residential complex. Simonyan vacated the residence in August, and Rubinyan moved into the government-provided quarters in September." Residency here is granted exclusively at the discretion of Nikol Pashinyan, which confers an additional status and weight upon the official in question. He may also invite other individuals—those for whom the law does not otherwise provide such a privilege. This signifies that the Prime Minister holds these individuals in high regard and maintains contact with them outside of a professional context. It is worth noting that the 2025 budget allocates 621 million drams to the "Government Residences" SNCO (State Non-Commercial Organization).
