The Prosecutor General has been making all sorts of false accusations from this podium, which are bursting like a balloon every day, Artsvik Minasyan, secretary of the "Armenia" faction, announced in the National Assembly.

"It should be noted that in Armenia, declared a bastion of democracy, not only is there no sign of democracy, but the rule of law is being thoroughly violated and disregarded. Political persecution applies not only to detainees, but also to illegal criminal prosecutions," he noted.

According to Minasyan, people are subjected to political persecution for asserting their dignity and truth.
